This Privacy Policy explains how Market Correct ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information about you when you visit mrktcorrect.com (the "Site") or engage us for any of our services (together, the "Services"). It also explains your rights with respect to that information and how to exercise them.
By using the Site or the Services in any way, you acknowledge that you've read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you don't agree, you must stop using the Site and Services immediately.
This policy doesn't apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that may link to or be linked from the Site. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies independently.

You control what you share with us. We don't require sensitive personal information such as government-issued ID numbers, financial account details, or health information to use this Site or inquire about our Services.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site. This includes:
- Usage data such as pages visited, time spent on each page, links clicked, referring URLs, and the path you take through the Site
- Device and browser data including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and device type
- Approximate location data inferred from your IP address at the city or region level. We don't collect precise GPS-level location information
- Session data including time and date of your visit and session duration
This information is collected primarily through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other tools described in Section 6. It helps us understand how people use the Site and where we can improve it.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties in limited circumstances, including:
- Analytics and advertising platforms we use to understand website traffic and ad performance
- Lead enrichment tools that may supplement contact form submissions with publicly available business information
- Referral sources or partners who direct prospective clients to us
Any information received from third parties is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and any applicable terms governing that data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
| Purpose | What It Means in Plain Terms |

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
For visitors in jurisdictions where a lawful basis for data processing is required (including but not limited to the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we rely on the following bases:
- Contractual necessity when processing is required to fulfill a service agreement with you or take pre-contractual steps at your request
- Legitimate interests for purposes such as improving the Site, preventing fraud, and conducting business outreach, where those interests aren't overridden by your rights
- Legal obligation when we're required by law to process or retain certain information
- Consent where we've obtained it, such as for certain marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us through the contact page
5. How We Share Your Information
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in the circumstances described below.
5.1 Service Providers
We work with a limited number of third-party vendors who help us operate the Site and deliver the Services. These include hosting providers, email delivery platforms, CRM tools, analytics platforms, and project management software. These vendors are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
5.2 Advertising Platforms (Client Data Only)
For active clients, we access and operate within third-party ad platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads on your behalf. Information shared with those platforms is governed by the respective platform's own privacy policies and data processing terms, which we execute as part of our client onboarding process.
5.3 Business Transfers
If Market Correct is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or reorganization, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll provide notice on the Site or by email before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy as a result of such a transaction.
5.4 Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Market Correct, our clients, or others
- Investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or illegal activity
- Enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements
5.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties in circumstances not described above when you've given us explicit permission to do so.
6. Third-Party Tools and Advertising Technology
We use a number of third-party tools on the Site. Here's what's running and why:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracks how visitors use the Site, including pages visited, time on site, and traffic sources. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policies. You can opt out of GA tracking via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google Tag Manager (GTM) manages the deployment of tracking scripts on the Site, including GA4. GTM itself doesn't collect personal data but facilitates the tools that do.
- Google Ads and Meta Ads (remarketing) may be used to display ads to previous Site visitors on Google's network or Facebook/Instagram. These platforms use cookies to enable this. You can opt out through Google's and Meta's respective ad settings.
- CRM and email tools are used internally to manage client and prospect communications. Information you submit through contact forms may be stored in our CRM. We don't share that data with third parties outside of what's described in Section 5.
We don't use session recording tools that capture keystrokes or record screen activity on this Site.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
7.1 What We Use
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly and to collect analytics data. Here's a breakdown of what's in use:
- Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Site to function. They can't be disabled.
- Analytics cookies (primarily GA4) help us understand traffic and usage patterns. These are not required for the Site to work.
- Advertising cookies may be placed by Google or Meta if you've previously visited the Site, to enable retargeting. These are controlled by those platforms' policies.
7.2 Your Cookie Choices
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them entirely. Keep in mind that blocking certain cookies may affect how the Site loads or functions.
To opt out of interest-based advertising from Google, visit Google Ad Settings. To opt out from Meta, visit your Facebook Ad Preferences.
8. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Here's our general approach:
- Contact form submissions from non-clients are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, unless you ask us to delete the data sooner
- Client records including communications, agreements, and campaign data are retained for a minimum of 5 years following the end of the engagement to comply with legal and contractual obligations
- Analytics data in GA4 is retained for 14 months by default, as configured in our GA4 account settings
- Legal hold data may be retained beyond standard retention periods where required by litigation, regulatory investigation, or court order
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in a manner that prevents reconstruction.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes using HTTPS encryption on the Site, restricting access to personal data to personnel who need it to do their jobs, and using reputable third-party vendors with their own security programs.
That said, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We can't guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately through the contact page.
In the event of a data breach that affects your rights or freedoms, we'll notify you and any applicable regulators as required by law.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. Regardless of your location, we'll do our best to honor reasonable requests.
10.1 Access
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and provide a copy of the data we have, subject to any legal limitations.
10.2 Correction
If you believe any information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it.
10.3 Deletion
You can ask us to delete your personal information. We'll honor that request where we're not legally required to retain the data, and where deletion doesn't interfere with an active service engagement or legal obligation.
10.4 Opt-Out of Marketing
If you've received a marketing or business development communication from us, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us through the contact page. Opting out of marketing communications won't affect transactional messages related to an active engagement.
10.5 Data Portability
Where applicable, you can request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
10.6 Objection and Restriction
You can object to or ask us to restrict processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, including where we're relying on legitimate interests as the legal basis.
To exercise any of the rights above, contact us through the contact page. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, and in some cases we may have a lawful reason to decline, in which case we'll explain why.
11. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
11.1 Categories of Personal Information Collected
In the preceding 12 months, we've collected the following categories of personal information as defined under the CCPA:
- Identifiers such as name, email address, IP address, and phone number
- Internet or network activity including browsing history on the Site and interaction with our content
- Professional or employment-related information such as company name and job title, when voluntarily provided
- Geolocation data at the approximate city or region level, inferred from IP address
11.2 We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information
Market Correct does not sell personal information to third parties. We also don't share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes as defined under the CPRA.
11.3 Your California Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we've collected about you and how it's been used or disclosed
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (though we don't engage in either)
- Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information (we don't collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To submit a CCPA request, contact us through the contact page. We'll acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we'll let you know and explain why, up to a maximum additional 45-day extension.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and verification of identity before processing requests from authorized agents.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are intended for businesses and business professionals. We don't knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us through the Site, please contact us through the contact page and we'll delete it promptly.
13. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you're visiting from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our team operates. U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
By using the Site or submitting information to us from outside the United States, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States.
If you're located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, and you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. Because there's no universal standard for how websites should respond to these signals, the Site doesn't currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track signals. You can manage your tracking preferences through your browser's cookie settings and through the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 7.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the tools we use. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide more prominent notice, such as an announcement on the Site or direct communication to active clients.
Your continued use of the Site or Services after any update is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you don't agree to the updated policy, you must stop using the Site and Services.
16. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests related to this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, please reach out through our contact page at mrktcorrect.com. We take privacy questions seriously and will respond within a reasonable time.
For requests to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to exercise any other rights described in this policy, please use the contact page and clearly describe your request so we can route it appropriately.
