The piece that changed my client calls
The LitONES dual-side LED clamp lamp clamps to the edge of the desk and puts soft light on my face from the front. It has two light panels, stepless dimming, and a memory function that holds the last setting. The listing pitches it for video conferences and Zoom calls, and that's the job it does for me.
A flat overhead bulb makes anyone look tired on a 9am call no matter what camera they use. This fixed that in five minutes. It was $82.99 when I checked, sold by LitONES Direct. If you only buy one thing on this page, buy this.

I bought two and love them
I run two LG 32U700B-B monitors side by side. Each is a 32-inch 4K panel that's virtually borderless on three sides, so the seam between the two screens stays thin. The stand adjusts for height and tilt, and it connects over HDMI or DisplayPort 1.4. LG lists up to 99% sRGB coverage.
Two of these give me four real working panes for GA4, Looker Studio, the ad platforms, and Claude Code. They're productivity monitors, not color-reference panels, and that's the right tradeoff for marketing work. $279.99 each when I checked, sold by Amazon.com.

The chair I sit in every day
My chair is a Haworth Fern, the version with the digital knit back, headrest, and lumbar support. It has 4D arms, seat depth adjustment, forward tilt, and tilt tension, and it supports up to 325 lb. It ships fully assembled, and Haworth backs it with a 12-year warranty.
It was $1,738 when I checked, sold by Haworth Inc. That's more than the rest of this page combined. I haven't tested the rest of the chair market, so this isn't a ranking. It's the chair I use, and I'd buy it again.

The Agilestic L-shaped electric standing desk gives me two zones. The main one holds the monitors, keyboard, trackpad, and lamp. The side one holds the notebook, the coffee, and whatever physical pile I'm working through.
I sit most of the day. The standing function is there for the days when energy drags, and the memory presets make it a one-button move. The white finish is deliberate, because a dark desk pulls visual weight into the bottom of every video call. $149.99 when I checked, sold by Agilestic.

The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad earns its spot twice. Touch ID saves real time when you switch between client logins all day. The numeric keypad matters to anyone who does CPL or ROAS math at the desk.

Gestures over a mouse
I gave up the mouse years ago. The Magic Trackpad sits at desk level next to the keyboard, and macOS gestures are faster than the matching keyboard shortcuts once they're in muscle memory. It charges over USB-C and lasts me about a month between charges.
If you live in spreadsheets all day, a Logitech MX Master 3S is the better pick. $130 when I checked, sold by Amazon.com.

Good enough for every client call
AirPods Pro 3 stay in my pocket, switch between phone and Mac without setup, and the mic is fine for client calls. The noise cancelling handles a coffee shop or a loud house.
Over-ear headphones still win on music and long sessions. For the in-and-out rhythm of a day of calls, these win. $199 when I checked, sold by Amazon.com.

Honeywell HWT-H01 LED desk lamp
My old lamp, and a cheaper option
Before the clamp lamp I used a Honeywell HWT-H01. It's a folding LED desk lamp with stepless dimming, three color temperatures, and USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
It wasn't that good for calls, and the LitONES was a significant upgrade. It's still worth a look if the clamp lamp's style isn't for you, and at $39.99 it's less than half the price. Sold by Honeywell Smart Lighting when I checked.

The single monitor I ran before the pair
I ran one LG 32UR500K-B before I bought the two 32U700B-Bs. It's a 32-inch 4K productivity monitor with built-in speakers, and it did the job for dashboard work.
If I were buying today I'd go straight to the 32U700B-B. It was $270.21 when I checked, sold by Amazon.com, which is within $10 of the newer one.
